Blood Sugar

We take it for granted that the food we put into our mouth is deftly handled and processed by our bodies. When your metabolism works well, we can efficiently take in and use protein, fats, and carbohydrates and turn them into energy to fuel our bodies.

Sometimes things—environmental toxins, genetics, lifestyle practices, and nutrition—get in the way. This is when sugar (glucose) creates an imbalance which begins to wreak havoc on and in our bodies.

Signs you might have dys-regulated blood sugar:

  • Binge eating

  • Brain fog

  • Craving sweets

  • Feeling hangry

  • Feeling shaky between meals

  • Headaches when you skip meals

  • Inflammation

  • Needing coffee or energy drinks to get through the afternoon

  • Waking up in the middle of the night

Do any of these sound familiar? Not sure where to start addressing your blood sugar imbalance?

Join us in 2023 for New Year New You where you will spend six weeks learning about blood sugar and the dietary and lifestyle modifications you do to bring your blood sugar levels into balance and improve your energy levels and overall health.
